I’d like to tuck some smaller herbs around my Russian Comfrey’s to fill up the space in the beds while they grow/recede this fall and winter…what would you recommend? Zone 9 heat, very temperate winter.

Perhaps some Mediterranean herbs that like heat - basil, oregano and such. Or bugleweed.
