I have to go down the mountain just a bit. Mimosa julibrison is common in the Carolinas. I use the blossoms a lot for allergies and as a mild sedative.
Oh really??? I did not know they had these properties. We love ours (we have 2 on our property) because they’re nitrogen fixers, so help our food crops immensely!
I’ve not heard of these before (which isn’t all that surprising), so I’m grateful to learn about them. I’ll do some research to see if any grow here.
